LibreOffice Calc não possui uma função interna que pode exibir números como palavras em inglês na planilha, mas você pode adicionar esse recurso inserindo a seguinte macro de função SpellNum_YouLibreCalc no módulo Basic.
Esta função permite converter números em palavras em qualquer moeda usando uma fórmula, como um número 22h50 será lido como
Isso pode ser muito útil se você usar LO Calc como modelo para preencher cheques ou outros documentos contábeis.
Para adicionar sua própria função para a soma escrita em inglês, abra o menu Tools - Macros - Edit Macros..., selecione Module1 e copie o seguinte texto de código para o módulo selecionado:
